Emily Mewett

Emily completed her physiotherapy degree at ACU Ballarat in 2022. Whilst studying, Emily took a gap year and worked in America as a camp counsellor for children with varying disabilities. She is no stranger to Lake Health Group, having been an integral part of the administration team for the last 4 years.

Emily enjoys seeing a wide variety of injuries and clients from all walks of life. She works in the clinic at Howitt Street, performs home visits as well as servicing clients at the Skipton hospital. Emily also performs work health assessments and screenings which includes musculoskeletal, hearing and drug testing. She has previously been a sports trainer for the Ballarat Miners Basketball team and an observer for the La Trobe University research project. Emily is passionate about a patient-first approach, ensuring that clients feel understood, supported and valued in their rehabilitation.

Emily enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog Stanlee. She enjoys playing basketball socially, however, it is often quite competitive!
