Twinkle Modi
Twinkle Modi is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in Ballarat with expertise in spinal physiotherapy, neck and back pain, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, workplace injuries, and evidence-based physiotherapy. She works with active adults, workers, and everyday patients to reduce pain, restore movement, improve function, and confidently return to work, sport, and everyday activities.
Twinkle holds a Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy Practice) from the University of South Australia and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She provides evidence-based physiotherapy for spinal pain, neck pain, lower back pain, musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, post-operative rehabilitation, and exercise-based rehabilitation.
Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), commonly known as the McKenzie Method, Twinkle has a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of spinal conditions. She uses the McKenzie Method alongside comprehensive assessment, movement analysis, and targeted exercise rehabilitation to help patients manage pain, restore mobility, and achieve long-term outcomes.
Twinkle brings several years of clinical experience across Australia and India, treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions in private practice and rehabilitation settings. She has worked with patients recovering from sports injuries, workplace injuries, post-operative surgery, chronic musculoskeletal pain, and mobility limitations. Her diverse clinical experience has developed strong skills in musculoskeletal assessment, rehabilitation, injury management, and patient education.
Twinkle believes in delivering personalised, patient-centred physiotherapy that focuses on identifying and treating the underlying cause of pain rather than simply managing symptoms. Her treatment approach combines hands-on physiotherapy, manual therapy where appropriate, movement assessment, exercise rehabilitation, education, and evidence-based treatment strategies to improve recovery, restore function, and support long-term health.
