Aastha Shah is a physiotherapist in Ballarat with a special interest in sports physiotherapy, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and exercise-based treatment. She works with athletes, active individuals, and everyday patients to recover from injury, improve strength, and confidently return to sport, work, and the activities they enjoy.

Aastha completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in India before relocating to South Australia to undertake a Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy Practice – Sports). She is committed to ongoing professional development and has recently completed her ASCA Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach accreditation, further enhancing her skills in exercise prescription, performance, and injury prevention.

She has gained experience across a diverse range of clinical settings, including sports physiotherapy, orthopaedic rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, clinical research, and community health. Her background includes working as a clinical research assistant in sports physiotherapy and providing rehabilitation for people living with Parkinson’s disease, neurological conditions, and movement disorders.

Aastha has a particular passion for helping active people return to the activities they love. Alongside individual physiotherapy consultations, Aastha leads ONERO osteoporosis exercise classes and individualised exercise group classes, helping people improve strength, mobility, balance, confidence, and overall function in a supportive environment.

She is also actively involved in the local sporting community, providing physiotherapy coverage for Springbank Football Netball Club, where she works with the Under 15s, Under 18s, Reserves, and Senior football teams throughout the season.
