About Peter
B.App Sci(Physio), Grad Dip Manipulative Therapy, Cert 3 and 4 in Fitness, Masters of Manipulative Therapy, Masters of Sports Physiotherapy, Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.

Peter is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists 2018) and a Sports physiotherapist, having worked as an advanced practice physiotherapist for 10 years in emergency, spinal clinics, joint replacement review clinics and shoulder clinics. He has worked extensively in the sporting field for over 25 years including most recently travelling with the Australian Para cycling and Para athletic teams internationally. Peter has been the physiotherapist for the CFA Urban Fire Brigade Championships for 20 years. He continues to work in the field of para sport as an International Classifier for Para triathlon and a National Classifier in Para Cycling and Para Rowing. Peter’s particular clinical interests are the management of complex spinal pain, shoulder pain and persistent pain problems. Peter’s passion is the provision of high quality evidence based practice.

Peter has been a runner for 40 years and in recent years has been involved in cycling, gym classes and triathlon. He is busy outside work with his partner, 5 children and 2 grandchildren.

Lake Health Group have ceased group exercise classes as of Thursday 6th August in line with government legislative requirements relating to Stage 3 COVID19  restrictions in regional Victoria.

Closure of the gym and Pilates area as well as cessation of groups is for a minimum of 6 weeks at this stage and relates to small exercise groups as well as the GLAD arthritis program.

For people in group classes please arrange for a one on one appointment with Josh or Jamie for them to construct a home program. For those currently doing GLAD with Lachie or Jasper this can continue but only in a 1 on 1 consultation basis.

We apologise for any inconvenience but your safety and that of all our clients and staff at Lake Health Group is our highest priority. We will continue to update you on the status of the gym and groups via social media, our website and our newsletter.
