Allied Health Care for the Ballarat Region

Lake Health Group are providing weekend Fitness Pilates Classes facilitated by our Fitness Instructor Georgie Coutts. Georgie is an energetic and motivated personal trainer with formal qualifications in Reformer and Mat Pilates. She has extensive experience in teaching classes and these group classes are not to be missed. These classes are going to be supercharged and super fun!. All classes are $15 and bookings are essential.

Pilates Timetable

Active Mat Pilates Class

This 50-minute class which can cater up to 14 people, with the original series of exercises designed by Joseph Pilates. This group class combines traditional Pilates crossed with conditioning and functional fitness. Rhythmically flowing from one movement to the next. It is designed to develop great endurance and build muscle memory.

Active Barre Class

The Barre class is for everyone, it’s a great way to tone muscles and work on posture. The movements are typically small and easy on the joints, this 50-minute class which can cater up to 14 people will increase strength and flexibility.  Active Barre is essentially a mix of classical ballet, Pilates and Yoga. This class combines Pilates principles with dance and is a highly effective workout set to music.

Active Stretch and Mobilise Class

The class allows you to incorporate stretching into your weekly workout. This instructor facilitated 50-minute stretching class will aid in decreasing the risk of injury as well as muscle soreness, while also allowing you to engage your mind and body. This is the ultimate wind down workout which can cater for up to 14 people! Make sure you join in and take time out for yourself

Active Reformer Class

The traditional purpose of Reformer Pilates was aimed at rehabilitation and to build core strength. The Active Reformer classes are designed for those who want more from their body. This 50-minute class is structured to focus on technique and to set you challenges and increase your heart rate, improve posture, mobility and flexibility while developing core stability and total mind body awareness. This class is limited to 10 participants
